Had a blast at this years annual CPC in the D! This is one of everyone’s favorite didactics day where we get together with other detroit programs. Residents present a case that is either a common presentation of a rare pathology or an uncommon presentation of a common pathology. Attendings then use their best diagnostics skills to try to figure out the cliffhanger of what test was ordered and what diagnosis was made!

Favorite place: paris, france - I love paris it has great european art, architecture, and history is romantic and beautiful, and is full of the most delectable food you could ever eat
Why SJHEM? I immediately called family after my interview to tell them how great I felt about SJHEM, I am impressed with how well regarded the faculty are by the residents, and that program leadership believes the residents to be excellent EM physicians. I worked as an ED scribe before medical school with an SJHEM graduate so I know the kind of quality residents the programs create.
Hobbies outside of medicine: I’m an amateur pizzaiolo, a plant dad, cat dad and dog dad. My partner and I love to spend time traveling, exploring the cities we live in and cooking amazing meals. I also love to bike, play volleyball, sing and play guitar and hike on the West Coast and throughout the Midwest.
Fellowship thoughts: I haven’t decided if I want to pursue a fellowship, If I do I would likely pursue toxicology and I have an interest in pharmacology and poisoning/OD treatment. I’d also like to be involved in medical student education.

Favorite place: Eleuthera Bahamas- After graduating, I visited the Bahamas with friends. Snorkeling in the crystal clear waters with friends was a great time. The reefs on the Atlantic side of the island are home to thousands of different species of fish which I would try and identify.

We had so much fun getting together with our critical care team for some delicious food and lovely discussion!
