Our third year residents enjoyed a wonderful week at the ACEP conference in San Diego this October. Each year, all third year residents go to the ACEP conference, allowing them a week to attend scholarly lectures and presentations, network with potential employers, and catch up with alumni of St. John.
This year, our very own associate PD Dr. Pena was invited to present research that she conducted on the utilization of magnetocardiography in the emergency department. Dr. Pena is also the medical director for the Clinical Decision Unit at St. John.
The week was capped off with a closing celebration at Petco Park.
